Morning: Opening the Shop
As I arrive at S&H GreenLife, our cannabis dispensary in Alamogordo, NM, the sun is just peeking over the horizon. I unlock the doors, power up our point-of-sale system, and begin the daily inventory check. Our shelves are stocked with a variety of products to serve both medical and recreational customers from across Otero County.
Mid-Morning: Customer Service
The first wave of customers arrives, including regulars from Boles Acres and La Luz. I assist a veteran from Holloman AFB in selecting a strain to help with chronic pain. Our team prides itself on educating customers about responsible cannabis use and finding the right products for their needs.
Lunchtime: Community Outreach
During my break, I make a quick call to confirm our upcoming educational seminar in Tularosa. S&H GreenLife is committed to community engagement and spreading awareness about the benefits and proper use of cannabis products.
Afternoon: Inventory Management
I spend some time updating our stock levels and placing orders with suppliers. We’re expecting a shipment of locally-grown flower from High Rolls later this week, which our customers always appreciate.
Evening: Closing Procedures
As the day winds down, I ensure all transactions are properly recorded and the shop is clean and organized for the next day. Before locking up, I take a moment to appreciate the role we play in providing safe, legal access to cannabis for our community.
Working at S&H GreenLife isn’t just a job; it’s an opportunity to be part of a growing industry and to make a positive impact on people’s lives throughout Alamogordo and beyond.
